Bryan Celeste, the youngest mayor in the Philippines
Meet Bryan Celeste, the youngest mayor in the Philippines who started serving the people of Alaminos City when he was 22 years old.
Amid the enhanced community quarantine, Bryan caught the attention of many people because of the service that he is providing to his constituents. Based not the article from GMA, Arth Bryan C. Celeste was born on June 5, 1996.
He is one of the four children of former Alaminos City Mayor Arthur Celeste and Chloe Caasi. The older Celeste served the said city from 2013 to 2019. Bryan graduated at De La Salle University-Manila with a degree in BS Entrepreneurship. He also finished his elementary and secondary education in the same school.
Before he ran for the mayoralty position in Alaminos, he served as a barangay captain of Barangay Magsaysay. Aside from that, Bryan also served as the president of Liga ng mga Barangay city federation, and the president of Liga ng mga Barangay provincial federation.
Now that he is a mayor, Bryan continues to serve and during the enhanced community quarantine he was lauded for leading the packing and relief operations for his affected constituents. For the third wave of the distribution of relief goods, the Facebook post of the mayor stated that each house will receive 1 kilo of rice and other goods.
Because of this kind of service that he is providing for the residents of Alaminos, he is being likened to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, who is also a young public servant.
However, unlike Mayor Vico, Mayor Bryan is currently in a relationship with Kapuso actress Pauleen Mendoza, based on the article.
