‘Most Behave Barangay’ in Alfonso, Cavite Amid ECQ to Recieve Lechon

ALFONSO, CAVITE – the local government will give 10 Lechon and 100 dressed chickens to the ‘Most Behave Barangay’ amid enhanced community quarantine.

To encourage his constituents to comply with enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) guidelines, Alfonso, Cavite Mayor Randy launches a contest in which the barangay with least or without violators will receive 10 Lechon and 100 dressed chickens as prizes.

According to him, they will monitor each barangay from April 27 to May 15, 2020. The barangay who’s in compliance with ECQ guidelines, including social distancing and staying indoors when there is nothing important to do outside.

“Simula po ngayong araw hanggang May 15, 2020 ang barangay na may pinaka konti o walang ECQ violator ay mananalo ng 10 pirasong lechong baboy!” he said on his Facebook post.

The Lechon was donated by Ysrael Landicho and Dodo Credo while the dressed chickens were from Janina Salamat and Robie Sartorio. Meanwhile, wife of Chito Miranda, Neri Miranda also encourage people participate and follow so they could have chance to win and have an instant fiesta like ‘handaan’ of they win.

Residents felt excited with their neighbors they also encourage them to comply with ECQ guidelines. But some, asked resident to follow the guidelines with or without prizes because this is also for them on their behalf.
