PAGASA – Intertropical Convergence Zone To Affect Southern Mindanao This April 29, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this April 29, 2020.
The early morning forecast form the state weather bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will affect Southern Mindanao on this day.
According to GMA New, the aforementioned weather system will bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental and Sarangani.
The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the Northeasterly Surface Windflow or NESWF will bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands
Lastly, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the warm winds from the east or easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms.
As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon will have strong winds that are moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
