Netizens Lauded Generous Farmer for Giving Free Bananas to Frontliners
VIDEO – a generous farmer seen giving free bananas to frontliners goes viral on social media and earned praise from the online community.
Since the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has stricken the Philippines lots of Filipinos have been affected. Lots have lost their jobs and their source of income, most of them were farmers.
Meanwhile, in video shared by netizen named Don Paulo Rodriguez, a teacher and also a volunteer helping law enforcers manning checkpoint boundary in Negros Oriental, he shows the farmer who sharing his harvest of bananas to frontliners.
According to Rodriguez, Rocamona stopped in front of them with his carabao pulling a sled full of his harvested bananas. Rocamona then approached them carrying basket of bananas in his back the give them some of her produce with a big smile on his face.
“Kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world, no matter what you look like,” Rodriguez wrote in his post. He added that he was surprised, happy and inspired for the act of kindness of Rocamona.
After the video was uploaded on social media, it has gone viral as many netizens praise and lauded him for his simple act of kindness towards frontliners. it has already been shared almost 20,000 times and has gained 29,000 reactions.
