Veteran actor Christopher de Leon donates his blood plasma after he survived the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in order to help other patients.
Many showbiz fans got worried when Christopher revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus. Fortunately, his wife Sandy Andolong tested negative.
With what happened to him, the veteran actor expressed gratitude to all the frontliners who have been working so hard since the pandemic started.
That plan came into realization on April 28. Sandy Andolong shared a photo of Christopher de Leon taken during the time when he was donating his blood plasma. It can be seen in the photos how happy the actor was while doing his part in fighting against the COVID-19.
“Done (praying hands, heart emojis) Hubby donated his plasma this afternoon. Thank you to all the doctors & staff of St. Luke’s Global for your help & assistance (smiley) All honor & glory to GOD (heart emoji),” the actress wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
