Female Doctor Share Her Blissful Encounter with Men Manning Check-up Point

Recently, in a Facebook post of Dra. Imelda Macayra Ibarreta niece named Love Maglana-Torralba, shed shared a unique and joyful experience between Dra. and police frontliners.

In a story of Dra., she said that at 10 o’clock of the evening while she was to returned home she passed a checkpoint. A police officer then approached her and asked where she was from.

When police found out which hospital Dra was working, the police said his wife to give birth was also admitted at the same hospital. Ibarreta looked at the nameplate of the police and found out his wife was one of her patients.

According to Ibarreta, the wife of the policeman had given birth but was unable to go to the hospital because he ran out leave applications and needed to work to pay his wife hospital expenses. Ibarreta felt pity to the police so she asked him what she could do to help.

Ibarreta offered that she will pay the expenses of his wife and he won’t spend any money. The police tried to refuse the officer because it was too much for him but forced when Ibarreta said “bakit, ako nga hindi nahiya sa iyo, nagsilbi ka sa bayan.”

Shortly after, the police introduce Ibarreta to his fellow police manning at the checkpoint. Ibarreta ask them if they have snacks, but men answered they have plenty, so she handed out the coffee given to her as gift.

Men then asked if it her birthday because of the gift wrap of the coffee she give. She replied, “hindi, matagal na”then men started singing Happy Birthday in the middle of the night.
