Soldier Blocked by Barangay Officials on Checkpoint
The photo of several barangay officials who allegedly denied the entry of a soldier at a checkpoint garnered various reactions from netizens.
Over the past few weeks, various local government units are strictly implementing the enhanced community quarantine as a precautionary measure against the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019.
The police authorities, health, and barangay workers are also doing their very best to address the health crisis. However, frontliners are exempted from some quarantine policies by the virtue of their work.
Recently, the Facebook page “Pinoy Trending News” has shared the photo of a soldier who was allegedly prohibited to pass at the checkpoint. The photo garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to the post, the barangay officials reportedly denied the entry of the soldier at the checkpoint. The frontliner begged the officials to let him pass but they still refused to do so.
