Police Authorities Tried to Arrest Male Resident in Private Village Over Alleged Quarantine Violation

A male resident in a private village has been nearly arrested without a warrant because on his helper is not wearing a face mask.

On Sunday (April 26, 2020), Makati police personnel came out of their vehicle and tried to arrest a Dasmariñas Village resident identified as Javier Salvador Parra. The incident happened in the front yard of the man’s residence in a private village in Makati City.

The cop nearly arrested the man because one of his helpers is not wearing a face mask while watering his plant. The authorities are told the house staff that the male resident would pay a fine of P1,000 for the violation.

Parra faces the two uniformed men and told them a fine was unnecessary but the man in fatigue uniform tried to arrest him without a warrant. The man resists the arrest and the cop tackled him to the ground.

The man’s wife begged the Makati personnel to stop arresting her husband because he had a severe injury on his back. She also expressed her disappointment to the incident telling the cops that they had not right to arrest her husband without a warrant.

The woman also told her husband to enter their home and immediately closed the door. The police officers left the residence after a few moments.
