During an interview with CNN, Moon’s top security adviser stated that “Kim Jong Un is alive and well”. According to the adviser, Kim had been staying in Wonsan, a resort town in the east side of North Korea.

He added that North Korea’s Leader had been staying there since April 13. Moreover, he added that no “suspicious” movements were made by Kim’s camp so far.

Furthermore, there were satellite images reviewed by 38 North, a US-based think tank that revealed a train headed towards Wonsan last week. According to a report from ABS-CBN, the train likely belonged to Kim.

However, 38Nortah cautioned that the train’s presence were not indicative of Kim’s health. Although it does strengthen claims that Kim was staying on the eastern coast of North Korea.

Also, this wouldn’t be the first time the Supreme Leader wasn’t seen in public. Previously, Kim was absent from the public eye for about six weeks. Afterward, he was seen out with a cane.

Days later, it was revealed by South Korean spies that Kim had undergone surgery to remove a cyst from his ankle.
