The online community has been buzzing about rumors stating that Kim already passed away due to an alleged heart surgery failure. Based on the previous report, media outlets from China and Japan published articles about this.
Furthermore, it was said that allegedly, the niece of a Foreign Minister from China who is a news director in a Hong Kong-backed news outlet leaked the information.
In line with the rumored death of the dictator, here are the conflicting stories, based on the report from Daily Mail. Reportedly, the Chinese government has sent medical experts, as well as several officials, to North Korea amid the public confusion regarding the real health status of the dictator. Three people familiar with the issue stated this.
Outlets in the west was unable to determine the intention of China immediately regarding the health of the North Korean leader. However, on Friday, a report from the Japanese news outlet Shukan Gendai claimed that Kim is in a “vegetable state”.
Another factor in the conflicting stories is the presence of a special train possibly belonging to Kim was spotted this week at the resort town. The recent satellite photo showed that the train was still in the said area on April 23 after it arrived on April 15.
Based on the report, it is unusual for Kim Jong-Un and his officials not to appear before the public for a long time.
Reportedly, two people revealed that a delegation from China including the senior member of the Chinese Communist Party’s International Liaison Department, dealing mainly with Kim Jong-Un’s government, went to North Korea last Thursday.
