Princess Punzalan To Act In Hollywood Film After Coronavirus Pandemic
PRINCESS PUNZALAN – Pinay actress Princess Punzalan is set to star in a Hollywood film after the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic.
Filipina actress Bernadette Vela Punzalan or better known as Princess Punzalan rose to fame after she starred as an antagonist in the hit tv series ‘Mula Sa Puso‘ starring Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto. She also became one of the hosts in now-defunct Kapuso show the ‘GMA Supershow.’
The 51-year-old celebrity is now working as a nurse in the US. She married marketing professional Jason Field. They have a daughter named Ellie.
Princess Punzalan was recently interviewed by GMA showbiz reporter Lhar Santiago. She said she continues her job as a nurse in the US while trying to pursue her Hollywood dream.
The veteran actress revealed that she is set to do a Hollywood movie after the coronavirus pandemic. She also shared how she got into the competitive entertainment industry.
Princess Punzalan shared that she was at an acting class when a talent agent visited the area to look for actors who have the potential to become a Hollywood star.
“She saw what I did. And then Billy, who was my acting coach, sent her my resume and she was interested. And then ayun, in-offer-an niya ako kung gusto ko raw siyang maging agent,” she said.
The prominent actress also shared how she found a Hollywood manager. “Out of the 96 posts na nag-respond sa kaniya, dalawa kami na binigyan niya ng sagot, ang sabi niya ‘E-mail me.’ So ayun, in-e-mail ko sa kaniya kung ano ‘yung resume ko and acting reel ko,” she shared.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, they will start the taping of her movie titled “The Interview.” The film is about the process of applying for a green card in the US.
Princess Punzalan was also asked if she can be a nurse and an actress at the same time. She answered “I think I will have to because hindi naman araw-araw merong trabaho bilang artista… ang pag-aartista dito sa Amerika hindi madali, isa itong pangarap para sa akin. And I’m working towards my goal na sana nagkaroon ng katuparan ‘yon.”
