Poor Old Man Gets Help From Kind Citizens After DSWD Takes Back Cash Aid Given to Him
A poor old man received blessings from kind-hearted residents after DSWD takes back the cash given to him because of a 4Ps family member.
Earlier, Joel Alva Baclao, the grandson of Romeo Alva revealed that the Department of Social Welfare and Development takes back the financial assistance given to him because one of his family members is a 4Ps beneficiary.
The old man expressed his sadness and disappointment to the incident since he is planning to use the money to buy a six-pocket short, pairs of briefs, and other necessities. Baclao clarified that his grandpa is not living in the same house with the family member who is a beneficiary of 4Ps.
Recently, Baclao clarified that he just expressed his sentiments on his previous post and apologized to barangay captain Edna Camara after other netizens misinterpreted his post. He also explained that the Sangguniang Barangay has no fault.
