Limitations as some shopping malls set to reopen.
SHOPPING MALLS – Those malls outside the areas under lockdown are allowed to reopen starting May 1 with the following limitations.
During the April 24 address of President Duterte, he declared another approach to contain the spread of coronavirus disease in the country, the general community quarantine which is just a notch lower than enhanced community quarantine. This will be enforced in provinces and cities with moderate or low risk to COVID-19.
Included in this is the re-opening and re-operation of some establishments. However, schools, leisure, amusement, gaming and fitness, tourism, and churches – all of which that gather huge crowd – are not yet allowed to open. Mass transportation will also resume in a limited capacity and restaurants will open again strictly for takeout and delivery services only.
And starting this May 1, the shopping malls of following areas outside those which are under lockdown are allowed to reopen. This comes with limitations set as the country, even after the ECQ lifted to some parts of the country, continues fight versus coronavirus.
