SC is set to release the 2019 bar exam results
The Supreme Court of the Philippines is set to release the 2019 bar exam results on April 20, 2020.
Every year, hopeful law students take the bar examinations in order to get their license to be officially called as attorneys. This is one of the most awaited exam results in the country.
Last November 2019, almost 8 thousand students took the bar exam and based on the previous article, the result is expected to be released this April or May 2020. However, due to the enhanced community quarantine the traditional atmosphere of excitement and nervousness would not be the same anymore as what happened in previous years.
Usually, bar takers and their families would excitedly wait outside the SC building for the result. However, this year, they are just advised to view the result on the official website of the Supreme Court.
Next Wednesday, SC will release the result after its full-court session, based on the official statement.
“In the light of the government’s call for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is advised to stay in their respective homes and check the results on line,” SC stated.
The message of the chairperson will also be heard online, unlike in the previous years that it was delivered in the Supreme Court premises.
In the statement, SC already extended congratulations to the bar passers but they need to wait further instructions regarding the clearance procedure, oath-taking ceremony, and roll-signing.
SC also reminded bar passers to submit requisite documents within the given period of time in order to be included in the oath-taking ceremony.
