ANGELIKA DELA CRUZ – Barangay Captain of Longos and actress Angelika Dela Cruz reacts to complaint about Tiktik sighting in Malabon.
Tiktik is believed to be just a myth. This mythical creature is among the most famous from Philippine folklore along with aswang, tikbalang, kapre, tiyanak, and many others. This is also a famous icon for horror films and it looks like a half human and a half bird which eats human flesh.
And the same creature was accordingly spotted in Malabon according to the complaint of one of the residents to Angelika Dela Cruz, the barangay captain of Longos. Accordingly, the Tiktik was spotted in a neighborhood where a pregnant woman lives.
There was a witness who saw the Tiktik and its long tongue and wide wings. Moreover, this incident reportedly created a commotion in the area. After receiving this type of complaint, the barangay captain took the social media to express her reaction.
Based on her statement, her kind of work makes her hear different kinds of complaints from different kinds of people. But this kind of complaint, however, is something that have made her laugh and she even joked that they will need a Ghostbuster for this.
She wrote on her Instagram, “Pag Kapitana ka lahat ng uri ng tao makaka salamuha mo at lahat ng reklamo maririnig mo pero yung ganito matatawa ka nlng hehe 🙊🤪😂 ang sagot ko nlng sa kanya … kuya ghostbusters po ang kailangan sa ganyan…”
