Dr. Dennis served as an oncologist while his wife, Dra. Helen continued her work as a pathologist. However, as their battle against the virus continued, an ominous cloud loomed above the couple.

As per the article, it was Dra. Helen who first showed symptoms of fever. Afterward, her husband felt sick a few days later. The two were isolated in different places, Dr. Dennis was under home quarantine while Dra. Helen was quarantined in the hospital.

Naturally, their kids were worried about their conditions. But, Dr. Dennis texted them with reassurance, “Don’t worry about mom. Please pray for our safety, and my recovery and mom is still alive.”

However, even with their hopes aimed for the best, the worst befell Dr. Dennis. Later, he was intubated due to the effects of the virus. Crestfallen, his children hadn’t received another text from him afterward.

Dra. Helen passed away from the deadly disease on March 28. Three days later, her husband fulfilled their vows, “Till Death Do Us Part”.
