Hospital bill of Recovered COVID-19 Patient Reaches P1.3 million
HOSPITAL BILL – a patient who recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) receives a staggering hospital bill that reaches P1.3 million.
Juliet Alunan, the patient who successfully overcome the dreadful coronavirus was shook after she receive a whopping bill while staying and being treated in the hospital.
Alanan, is one of the lucky patient who survived after battling the deadly virus. she needs to endure the pain of being infected and not seeing her family for more than weeks, she still need to wait for 2 weeks before she would be able to hold and rejoice with her family.
She shared her experience with COVID-19 to ABS-CBN News, she recalled that she was suffering from fever, cough, and difficulty breathing for 8 days before she was brought to the hospital. Luckily, her condition got better after four days and she was eventually discharged from the hospital.
But what most surprise her is the hospital bill, which reached P1.3 million. However, she was thankful because it was answered by the PhilHealth, considering that she got better before April 15, the final date that agency would shoulder COVID hospitalization.
