Recently, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared some positive vibes on her Instagram account amid the 2019 novel coronavirus crisis. She showed off her donations on Monday, April 13.
The 30-year-old beauty queen shared a photo of herself with the boxes of facemasks she donated. In the caption, she said she’s was able to donate 25,000 face masks through her fundraiser.
Pia Wurtzbach clarified that her fundraising initiative in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet. She stressed that she is still planning to provide more masks to the frontliners. She said the masks will be donated to 15 hospitals.
“Another 15,000 masks today for 15 hospitals. That’s a total of over 25,000 masks! Thank you so much for all your donations, you made this happen! BUT we want to continue. With your help we can start ordering n95 masks this time, which is an essential for frontline workers caring for COVID-19 patients,” she wrote.
