John Lloyd Cruz shares his lockdown poem

A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz shares the poem that he wrote as a result of his lockdown experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before the enhanced community quarantine was implemented, Lloydie was starting to make his showbiz comeback after his three-year hiatus. He was already shooting for a movie but prior to that he did a commercial.

However, before he can totally have his return to the entertainment industry, the pandemic happened and everything in showbiz halted. The current situation in the country somehow froze the excitement of Lloydie’s fans.

Just recently, he was spotted in Cebu, where Ellen Adarna is based. Rumors that they already broke up circulated a few months ago. In some of Ellen’s video posts on her Instagram account, she would hint the real score between her and John Lloyd.

Another recent sighting of the A-list actor caught the attention of his fans. He was with writers Joselito Delos Reyes, Erwin Romulo, and Jerome Gomez during a recent online telethon titled ‘Mamatay Kang Hayup Na Covid Ka’.

This is intended to be an online fundraiser by the people in the entertainment industry for the Philippine Genome Center, Philippine Lung Center and the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.

During that online telethon, John Lloyd Cruz shares his journey in writing poems. Lalong hindi ako makawala,” he said.

The actor also said that since the current situation would not allow them to shoot, it is more likely of him to stumble upon pen and paper. Because of that, he wrote the poem he called “Holdap“.

Ihanda ang nalalabing pera, holdap ‘to”
