Petroleum Products Price To Be Increased After Series Of Rollbacks
PETROLEUM PRODUCTS – After a series of rollbakcs due to the effects of COVID-19, prices of petroleum products will increase.
The current rollback was previously reported on April 7 where oil companies Phoenix Petroleum, Petro Gazz, Caltex, at Seaoil reduced the price by ₱0.70 less per liter for diesel, and ₱0.30 less per liter for gasoline.
Kerosene price on Caltex and Seaoil were reduced as well, by ₱0.75 less per liter.
Recently, oil companies announced that they will increase the prices of these products, except kerosene, after a series of rollbacks
According to Manila Times, the price of gasoline will increase by ₱0.55 more per liter. As for diesel, it will increase by ₱0.15 more per liter.
However, the price of kerosene will drop further by ₱0.20 less per liter.
As per the report, the companies Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum, Pilipinas Shell, PTT Philippines, and Seaoil announced that the increase of prices of fuel will take effect on Tuesday (April 14) 6 AM.
