Mayor Gatchalian Cooked the Confiscated Chickens as Food for Frontliners
Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian cooked the confiscated chickens from the illegal cockfighting nabbed amid ECQ as food for the frontliners.
Amid the stricter implementation of enhanced community quarantine all over the country, there are still stubborn residents who do illegal activities and violating the quarantine orders.
On the social media post of Rex Gatchalian, he shared the stubborn people who got arrested while doing illegal cockfighting held in Valenzuela City Sunday morning, amid the ongoing enhanced community quarantine and coronavirus disease threat.
According to his post, they were immediately taken to the police station. And the confiscated chickens from the illegal cockfight were cooked as delicious dish.
He said on his twitter post “Pinadala sa Central Kitchen ang mga Chickens. Idadagdag sa mga meals for tonights’ operations…nothing will go to waste.”
Mayor Rex also made a survey on what dish do you his fans and follower prefer to cook, “adobo or tinola?”
While the followers were predicting, the Mayor gave an update on what is being done with the confiscated chickens. While waiting for the result, he warned the derby fans for doing illegal cockfights, he assures that he will their chickens as delicious meals.
