Bea Alonzo Cooks For Coronavirus Frontliners
BEA ALONSO – Kapamilya actress and vlogger Bea Alonzo prepared pasta for the frontline health workers fighting the 2019 novel coronavirus disease.
Several celebrities have stepped up in helping the frontliners in their battle against the 2019 novel coronavirus. Actresses Marian Rivera, Judy Ann Santos, and Angelica Panganiban prepared delicious meals for our heroes.
They are hailed as heroes in this war because they are risking their lives just to save COVID-19 patients. In fact, a lawmaker proposed that the frontliners who died battling the disease should be buried at the ‘Libingan Ng Mga Bayani.’
Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo is the latest celebrity to prepare food for the frontliners. Earlier, she led a charity drive to provide protective gear for the frontliners.
The 32-year-old actress-vlogger created DIY face shields and distributed alcohol, face masks and vitamins. She shared some details about her latest relief efforts on her Instagram account.
Bea Alonzo cooked meals for the healthcare workers and other frontliners on Easter Sunday. It’s her way of showing appreciation for their sacrifices amid the pandemic. She shared the photos of the packed meals she prepared on her IG account.
“Happy Easter! For the first time, I tried to cook for one hundred people (but failed), I just ended up doing 98, but that’s okay. Given the circumstances, I decided not to be hard on myself because the core reason why I cooked in the first place is to give a little joy to our frontliners, and just by doing that, I already felt fulfilled,” she wrote.
The ‘Unbreakable‘ actress said the food packs were delivered to various hospitals including Fatima Hospital, East Avenue Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, and Lung Center of the Philippines. In the caption, she extended her gratitude to the people who helped her in her drive.
