Pinoy celebrities donate amid COVID-19 crisis
As the enhanced community quarantine was extended, Pinoy celebrities donate more relief goods to frontliners and affected families.
Amid the health crisis, many people chose charity instead of spreading negativity. Several celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry set examples of “bayanihan” in this trying time.
Some of the celebrities who continue to donate are Pokwang, Kris Aquino, Julia Montes, Angel Locsin, KC Concepcion, Willie Revillame, Heart Evangelista and many more.
Just recently Pokwang shared in her Instagram post that she and partner Lee O’Brian donated relief goods to frontliners and stranded families due to the enhanced community quarantine.
Meanwhile, the recent post of Heart Evangelista showed that they provided 500 face shields for the constituents of her husband Governor Chiz Escudero in Sorsogon.
Wowowin host Willie Revillame reached out to the public servants such as Senator Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in order to extend his help to affected families.
Several celebrities who are under the management of Cornerstone Entertainment also donated relief goods. They are Kris Aquino Sam Milby, Julia Montes, KC Concepcion, Gretchen Ho, Yeng Constantino, K Brosas, KZ Tandingan, Jason Dy, Pooh, Ken San Jose, Zephanie, Maricar Reyes-Poon, Dominic Roque, Kyle Echarri and Direk James Mayo.
Angel Locsin also continues to help providing tents as temporarily shelters of patients to avoid overcrowding in hospitals in Metro Manila.
Through the products that she is endorsing, Alex Gonzaga also distributed relief goods to the less fortunate residents of Taytay, Rizal.
Meanwhile, Bela Padilla continues to do relief operations with the P3.3 million donations that she raised. That is despite the negativity from some netizens who questioned her charitable endeavor.
