Here’s Where To Stream Andrea Bocelli’s Easter Sunday Concert

EASTER SUNDAY –  Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform live from Milan Italy’s Duomo Cathedral on Easter Sunday.

Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli is a world-renowned tenor. In 1988, he was hailed as one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People. He was diagnosed with glaucoma and became completely blind at the age of 12.

The 61-year-old singer has collaborated with international artists like Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, and Celine Dion. The French-Canadian singer said, “if God would have a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli.”

Based on a report from PUSH, Andrea Bocelli will play some good music on Easter Sunday. He will perform at Duomo Cathedral in Milan, Italy.

The concert of the multi-awarded singer at the historic landmark will be streamed live. His online concert is “intended as a symbol of love, hope, and healing amidst the coronavirus pandemic”.

According to the report, Andrea Bocelli’s concert will be streamed on his Youtube Channel 1700 GMT on Sunday, April 12, 2020. “The Prayer” hitmaker will be accompanied by Emanuele Vianelli, the cathedral’s only organist.

Vianelli will use one of the world’s largest pipe organs and play “Sancta Maria” by Pietro Mascagni.

“I’m honored and happy to answer ‘Si’ to the invitation of the City and the Duomo of Milan. I believe in the strength of praying together; I believe in the Christian Easter, a universal symbol of rebirth that everyone – whether they are believers or not – truly needs right now…”

“Thanks to music, streamed live, bringing together millions of clasped hands everywhere in the world, we will hug this wounded Earth’s pulsing heart,” he added.

Based on the report, Milan mayor Giuseppe Sala issued a statement saying: “This year, Easter will be very different for all of us … I am sure that the extraordinary voice of Bocelli will be the embrace we are missing these days, a strong, special hug, capable of warming the heart of Milan, Italy and the world.”
