Vice Mayor in Bacolod Warned PUM’s Who Escaped to Reveal their Names
Bacolod City Vice Mayor El Cid Familliaran warned persons under monitoring (PUMs) to reveal their name in public they won’t show up.
Recently, at least 25 persons under investigation (PUMs) of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reportedly missing after personnel of Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) failed to locate them.
The PUMs have not yet finish the 14-day mandatory home quarantine, said Dr. Grace Tan, chief of the City Health Office’s (CHO) Environment and Sanitation Division.
Department of Health (DOH) said that PUMs are thosewho have a history of travel to other areas or have exposure to a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, regardless of their nationality, race and age.
Meanwhile, the Vice Mayor of Bacolod City El Cid Familliaran has release statement in his Facebook account. He warned the 57 PUMs from Bacolod that reportedly escaped from the health authorities.
He said that if they won’t show up and tell health officials where are their locations he will reveal their identities. He warned them contact City Health Office until Sunday.
“Ang 57 ka PUMs nga taga Bacolod nga indi na ma contact tagaan ta kamo asta Sunday nga mag contact sa City Health Office kay kon indi pang lawagon ko ngalan nyo!” Vice Mayor said on his post.
[The 57 PUMs from Bacolod who are not in contact, I will give you time until Sunday to contact the City Health Office, if not, I will reveal your names,] translation.
