EARTHQUAKE – The United States (US) state of Idaho was jolted by a 6.5 magnitude quake.

Earthquakes are among the natural incidents that cannot be fully predicted. It can happen anytime and anywhere with varying effects.

In some instances, quakes may not be felt. However, in other cases, it caused the falling of a building and the losing of lives. Each country has a an agency that records and releases details about these natural occurences.

Recently, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) released an update regarding a quake in U.S. The state of Idaho was hit.

EARTHQUAKE

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a 6.5 magnitude earthquake jolted the US state of Idaho on Tuesday. According to USGS, the epicenter of the quake was in northeast of Boise, the capital of Idaho.

According to the residents, the shaking lasted for 20 to 30 seconds. Meanwhile, based on the report, there were no immediate records of damages.

Also, there are no immediate fatalities due to the 6.5 magnitude quake. More updates may be posted soon.
