Frontliners in Laguna Rejoiced After 21 PUIs Tested Negative for COVID-19
Frontliners in Sta. Cruz, Laguna was rejoicing after founding out that the twenty-one persons under investigation (PUIs) tested negative of COVID-19.
Several cities and municipalities in the Philippines got persons under monitoring (PUMs) and patients under investigation (PUIs) over coronavirus. Currently, there is a total of 2,084 confirmed cases in the country after the Department of Health (DOH) earlier announced 538 new additional confirmed cases.
The death toll, as based on the previous article, ten new deaths were confirmed bringing the total to 88. While there are seven people added to the list of recoveries.
Meanwhile, in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, frontliners and health workers were overjoyed after founding out that the twenty-one Persons Under Investigation (PUI) confined were negative on the test of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
According to the Facebook post of GMA Public Affairs, hospital administrator Debbie Dael, shared photos of them cheering after hearing the good news. The entire hospital is now undergoing another round of decontamination to ensure the facility is safe.
Meanwhile, the hospital still accepting patients but only emergency cases and patients are still required to go through triage. For now, there are a total of 1,013 people have tested negative for the disease while 692 more are waiting for results.
