Pacquiao added that this is an invasion of privacy and would place him under negativity from the public after the letter was leaked on social media.

An article from Spin PH states that the boxer-senator’s official Senate stationary wrote a letter for Rossana Hwang, head of Barangay Dasmarinas, urging her to stop making declarations based on fake news and false socmed posts.

The barangay placed the Pacquiao family and staff under home quarantine on Friday due to a viral video which showed the senator hosting a party at home, with Senator Koko Pimentel, who was tested positive for COVID-19, among the guests.

Pacquiao clarified that the gathering was held last March 4 or prior to the community quarantine in Metro Manila. He added that teh gathering was rather a meeting aong members of the PDP-Laban political party than a party.

He stressed that saying that he had a party would make him look like he is insensitive to the current issue of the nation.

As per the report, the boxer-senator added that he will issue an investigation since a private letter that was leaked on socmed would count as an invasion to privacy.

Meanwhile, he requested the barangay to allow one member to go out based on IATF protocol. The boxer-senator was tested negative from the virus, according to a South Korea-based test kit.
