Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, Sen. Koko Pimentel’s Wife, Gives Birth
KOKO PIMENTEL – Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, the wife of Senator Aquilino Pimentel III, gave birth to their first baby.
Recently, Sen. Pimentel was figured in an issue after he accompanied his wife, Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, to the hospital despite the home-quarantine protocol. He is one of the senators who tested for coronavirus.
Sen. Pimentel tested positive for coronavirus and, according to him, he was already at Makati Medical Center (MMC) when he was informed about his test results. He accompanied his pregnant wife who will undergo a caesarian section to give birth.
The Senator left the premises of the hospital. The MMC released a statement criticizing the move of the Senator which led to the reduction of its workforce as some hospital staff have to be quarantined.
Kathryna’s c-section was delayed. She was also put under monitoring over exposure to her husband. Many complained over the move of the Senator to break the protocols of the Department of Heath (DOH).
Recently, an update about the wife of Sen. Koko Pimentel crossed the surface. Based on a report on Rappler, Kathryna Yu-Pimentel has already given birth to her first baby with the Senator.
According to the report, Kathryna was tested for coronavirus but the result was not disclosed. Also, the name of the hospital where she gave birth was not revealed.
