Several Filipino celebrities have offered some help to the frontliners and families who are affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The healthcare workers are now risking their lives to save the people who are infected with the disease.
Yesterday, actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin launched a campaign to address the needs of the frontliners. She decided to add more tents at the hospitals so that the healthcare workers will have a good rest after their shift.
In a previous article, celebrity couple Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico decided to support Angel Locsin’s campaign. They donated two tents for healthcare workers.
Veteran actress Judy Ann Santos also help fight the coronavirus. She decided to make a DIY face shield for the frontliners. The equipment is used as protection against infectious disease.
The actress shared on her IG account that she has been making face shield for the frontliners. She also expressed her gratitude to all the workers who continue to serve their country despite the risks.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Para sa ating mga frontliners.. nag volunteer kami to make faceshields.. all ou materials our provided by our friends from @faceshieldsforfrontliners , we have a deadline tom. Morning.. and we are more than happy to do this for them.. magtulungan po tayo.. i will be coming ul with a video on how to make these face shields… for now, god bless us all. Lalo na ang mga nagbubuwis ng mga buhay nila para sa kaligtasan nating lahat.”
