Netizens react to these improvised protective gears
Photos of people wearing their improvised protective gears against COVID-19 earned laughter as these went viral on social media.
In some countries, there is a shortage of PPEs or personal protective equipment, as well as masks and other medical supplies amid the health crisis. The fact that people can’t afford expensive gears against coronavirus also added to the problem of availability.
In line with this, some people resorted to improvisation. Some people have used ordinary household items in order to protect them against the virus. However, for whatever reason, some overdid this while others might not notice that it already looks humorous, just like this post of a netizen from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Facebook user Cristiano Ribeiro shared several photos showing the improvised protective gears that people used to protect themselves from the virus. His post has this caption (translated in English): “I’m saying the people are starting to go crazy.”
