The decision to adjust booking policies by the airline was in order to give the passengers flexibility and relaxation should they choose to reschedule their travel during the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Like Philippine Airlines, the budget airline said that it aims to resume travel operations until April 15.

Passengers with confirmed booking on any domestic of foreign air travel, however, can choose two options:

  • Free rebooking
    • The airline will waive change fees regarding the rebooking of flights. Passengers can access the Manage Booking in the official website to do so.
  • Travel Fund Option
    • The full price of the ticket can be placed in a Travel Fund so that it can be used as a payment for future booking. This is also accessible via Manage Booking. This is also valid for about 180 days and is usable for bookings up to 12 months.

As per the report, as for April 15 to June 30 booked flights, they include CEB Flexi, which enables travelers to rebook two times, which is free of charge.

The airline made and apology for the delays in returning messages and long holds for calls. It explained that this is due to the high number of passenger concerns that the airlines addressed.
