Part of Russia Jolted by Earthquake w/ 7.8 Magnitude

EARTHQUAKE – A 7.8 magnitude quake hit a part of Russia according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Among the natural incidents that are inevitable and can hardly be predicted are earthquakes. It can happen anytime and anywhere and there are countries that are more prone to it.

Nations lying in the Pacific Ring of Fire are more prone to quakes. These natural occurrences may come in different intensities. Some are hardly felt while others can bring down structures and cost lives.

EARTHQUAKE

Recently, a strong earthquake hit a part of Russia. Based on a report on Manila Bulletin, the United States Geological Survey recorded a 7.8 magnitude quake off shore Severo’s south-southeast.

According to the report, the US National Tsunami Warning Center is still analyzing the natural occurrence. More updates may be posted soon.
