DOH’s Records on New Coronavirus Cases in PH Increase by 77

NEW CORONAVIRUS CASES – The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 77 new cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

The Philippines is racing against time to contain the spread of COVID-19 or also called by many as the 2019 coronavirus. It has brought the worst situations in China and Italy.

Globally, the confirmed COVID-19 cases is at 277,169 now. Out of this number, 11,431 patients died while 91,989 have already recovered.

In the Philippines, the whole of Luzon now is under en enhanced community quarantine to limit the movements of people. Everyone in the country is encouraged to implement social distancing.

New Coronavirus Cases

Recently, the Department of Health (DOH) gave an update on the total COVID-19 cases in the Philippines. Based on a post of The Philippine Star, 77 new coronavirus cases were recorded by the health department.

The new additions bring the total confirmed COVID-19 cases from 230 to 307. Based on the post, five (5) patients have already recovered from the disease bringing the recoveries to thirteen (13).

The DOH reported one (1) additional death today due to coronavirus. The death toll is at 19.
