Korean Actor Moon Ji Yoon Dies at the Age of 36

KOREAN ACTOR – “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo” actor Moon Ji Yoon has passed away at the age of 36 due to acute septicemia.

A source from Family ENT, Moon Ji Yoon’s agency said that the Korean actor visited the hospital due to “severe sore throat” but eventually transferred to the intensive care unit after his health condition gets worse.

“He recently went to the hospital because he had a severe sore throat, but his condition became much worse and he was moved to the intensive care unit. He lost consciousness after that and he was not able to recover,” the anonymous source said.

On Wednesday evening (March 18, 2020), the 36-year-old actor died of acute septicemia or also known as blood poisoning.

The anonymous source also claimed that he/she had worked with the actor and described him as a very passionate person when it comes to acting. The source also described Yoon as a healthy person.

Moon Ji Yoon is well known for the popular Kdrama entitled “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo”. He started his acting career in 2002 and has been featured in numerous shows including “Hyunjung, I Love You,” “Sassy Girl Chunhyang,” “Iljimae,” “Big,” “May Queen,” and “Cheese in the Trap.”
