In the United States, distilleries have temporarily stopped productions of your favorite alcoholic drink and switched to making sanitizers to fight COVID-19.
Netizens on Twitter shared how their local distilleries began producing sanitizers. Moreover, they are selling it absolutely free!
It’s not a secret how people want to make a profit out of this pandemic by hoarding. This only causes more problems for the majority of the population that badly needs it.
In the Philippines, the government gave an order which calls for the arrest of hoarders. It also reminded merchants of the strict implementation of the 60-day price freeze on all basic commodities as the country faces threats of the COVID-19.
This has been happening worldwide as well. Luckily, there are those who understand the importance of unity in these times of crisis.
