Louis Vuitton Owner To Create Hand Sanitizer Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

LOUIS VUITTON – The owner of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton will start manufacturing its own sanitizer to help fight the COVID-19 outbreak.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has sickened more than 150,000 people and caused the death of more than 5,000 people. The virus from China caused mild to moderate symptoms such as fever and cough. Most of the victims are elderly people.

Research groups around the world are trying their best to create a vaccine to fight the coronavirus. In a previous article, a US government official said the clinical trial for COVID-19 will begin today.

Based on a report from Preview, LVMH, the world leader in luxury like Louis Vuitton, Celine and Dior announced on Sunday, that they will start making hand sanitizers to avoid the coronavirus. The French multinational corporation and conglomerate are stepping in to help combat the deadly virus.

They will give the disinfectant gel for free. Several countries including the Philippines fears of global medicine shortage amid the pandemic.

According to the report, France has recorded more than 3,600 infected patients and 79 deaths as of March 14. LVMH said they will start making large quantities of hydroalcoholic gel starting today.

Their hand sanitizer will be donated to the Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris and the health authorities in France.

Meanwhile, Filipino actresses Pokwang and Bela Padilla made rounds online after they decided to offer some help to their countrymen.

The comedian prepared a meal for the cops and soldiers who are conducting checkpoints in Metro Manila while Bela launched fundraising to help the informal workers affected by the community quarantine.
