Willie Revillame’s Reaction To Temporary Suspension Of Live Studio Audience Due to COVID-19 Outbreak

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has placed the Philippines under a state of public health emergency on Monday, March 9 due to the rise of novel coronavirus cases in the country.
The 74-year-old president confirmed last night that there are now 24 cases in the country. He revealed that the 4 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Sta. Maria, San Juan, West Crame, and Project 6 in Quezon City. The management of the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines, Eat Bulaga, released a statement saying they will temporarily ban live studio audience amid the coronavirus scare.
Eat Bulaga management assured their fans that they will continue to bring entertainment to Filipino’s homes every day. “Araw-araw pa rin po kaming maghahatid ng isang libo’t isang tuwa sa inyong mga tahanan. Ingat po tayong lahat, Dabarkads!” they said.
Meanwhile, tv host Willie Revillame gave his reaction following the decision of the noontime show. He is the main host of the top-rated variety show ‘Wowowin.’ In his program, he interacts with his live audience.
Based on a report from PEP, the prominent host plans to have a meeting with the management of the Kapuso network to talk about the precautionary measures they have to implement on his show amid the coronavirus scare in the country.
“Makikipag-usap muna ako sa GMA-7 management jung ano ang plano nila,” he said.
According to the report, Willie Revillame said his show must also implement precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the deadly virus. “For me, dapat talagang wala munang audience,” the host said.
