Police Caught Vehicle Driver w/ Expired License Plate, Driver Says “I’ve Been Busy Lately”

A police officer apprehended a vehicle driver over its expired 1997 license plate but the driver explained “I’ve Been Busy Lately”.

Nowadays, the Philippine government is already implementing stricter traffic rules and regulations in the country. The authorities aim to ensure the safety of both motorists, passengers, and pedestrians.

The Land Transportation Office also requires drivers to register their vehicles for validity and legality purposes. Drivers who will be caught violating this policy could face corresponding sanctions and penalties.

Recently, the Facebook page “Slidell Police Department” reported that another vehicle driver has been pulled over with expired license plate tags saying he has been too busy and he forgot to renew his plate tags.

A Slidell Police Department officer pulled over a driver for driving a vehicle with an expired license plate, which is expired since 1997. The man gives his explanation but the police officer consider it invalid.

“Sorry, officer. I’ve been busy lately and totally forgot to renew my vehicle registration. I will take care of it as soon as I get home,” the driver told the cop.
