Nowadays, millions of people are now hooked to the popular multimedia platform, TikTok. It gives them the pleasure to create their own videos with entertaining background sounds and filters.

Even government agencies use this social media platform to promote their advocacies to the Philippines. Just like DoT, they collaborate with TikTok to boost the tourism of the Philippines.

Recently, the Department of Health (DOH) started to use TikTok to bring awareness and give some protective measures against Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). They post the video in their official Facebook page and Twitter account.

In just ten seconds, the DOH provided four ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The agency has shared its TikTok video in which several staff members dance to Zsa’s rendition of “The Weekend.”

They called their dance the #covidance challenge. “DOH is officially on TikTok. Learn protective measures against COVID-19 in this TikTok video! Join the #covidance challenge!” DOH wrote in the caption.
