5 Month Old Child in Bacolod Found Lifeless

A five (5) month old child in Bacolod, Negross Occidental found lifeless in a river after a flash flood struck the city due to scattered rain.

Recently, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the northeasterly surface wind flow would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the eastern Visayas.

The bureau states that a low pressure area (LPA) will affect Visayas and Mindanao. The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides over areas affected by the rain.

Meanwhile, in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, a five (5) months old child was reported missing amid the scattered rain and flash flood struck the city. In a report of the Bombo Radyo Facebook page, the child was found lifeless floating in the river just this morning.

According to the report, the child was carried away by the flood to the river in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City. The child was later found in the seashore of Barangay 35.
