Family in Dagupan Bitten by Their Pet Dog, Later Found Out It Has Rabies After it Dies
Family members in Dagupan City were all bitten by their pet dog not knowing it has rabies, later found out when the dog dies.
Pet owners love to adopt dogs compared to other animals because they are friendly and approachable. Dogs is also considered as man’s best friend because of their closeness to humans.
However, some of the pet owners don’t give much care just like veterinary consultation with their dogs. Otherwise, they have no idea whether their pets are sick or have a rabies infection.
In a report of GMA News, a family in Dagupan City, Pangasinan with seven (7) members were all bitten by their pet dog that has rabies. The biting incident happens last February.
They ignored the biting of their pet as they did not feel any symptoms and not knowing that it has rabies. The family soon notice their dog’s mood changes and feel weaken and died eventually.
They later found out that their pet has rabies. So the family has been given an anti-rabies vaccine and luckily, they are all safe now.
