Hyun Bin Donate Millions To Help Fight Coronavirus Outbreak
DONATE – South Korean actor Hyun Bin reportedly donate millions to help combat coronavirus outbreak.
The novel coronavirus or COVID-19 has caused the death of 3000 people and has infected nearly 100,000 people across the globe. The deadly virus sparked new outbreaks in Europe and the United States.
Following a previous article, South Korean actress Son Ye-Jin has made a generous donation to her home town Daegu. It is the epicenter of COVID-19 in South Korea.
“Crash Landing on You” actress Son Ye-Jin donated P4.1 million to a non-profit organization to help combat the deadly virus from China. “I hope that [my donation] can provide some sort of practical help to lower-income residents who desperately need help now more than ever, as well as an aid in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19,” she said.
Based on a report from Koreanboo, Son Ye-Jin’s on-screen partner in the hit K-drama Hyun Bin has reportedly donated a huge amount to help fight coronavirus. He provided 200 million won (approximately P8.5 million) to combat the virus.
The 37-year-old actor donated a week ago to the non-profit organization, Community Chest of Korea. He asked the organization to keep quiet about his donation.
According to the report, Hyun Bin issued a statement regarding the coronavirus outbreak in his country. His letter was posted on his company’s Instagram.
