Remember Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli’s “Go-Kart date”?
SARAH GERONIMO – Here’s what happened when Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli went out for a “Go-Kart date” way back in 2013.
For 17 years that Sarah Geronimo stayed in the show business industry, she got romantically linked to several men such as singer Mark Bautista, A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz, dancer Rayver Cruz, actor Gerald Anderson, and among others on her dating history.
However, for several men who became a part of her life, the one she ended up with is Kapamilya actor Matteo Guidicelli and it was just recently when they got married in a Christian wedding. A ceremony kept from the public and from her mother Mommy Divine but still, got revealed.
Ever since, Matteo has this huge crush on Sarah and has always been vocal about it especially that moment when he drove and lined-up with the fans during one of her out-of-town shows just to have a photo of her and her autograph. It was in 2010 when they got formally introduced to each other through the help of Billy Crawford during her concert in Cebu.
It was in 2011 when they worked together in film Catch Me…I’m In Love and in 2012 when their song-dance number went viral and the next circumstances of them being together sparked romantic speculations. And in 2013, they made rounds online for that kiss he did on her hand in front of a large audience.
And in that same year, they officially became a couple and in 2014, almost a year after of being in a relationship, Sarah surprised everyone with the confirmation that he is her boyfriend. And more than six years of being together, they tied that knot.
However, that same year when they became a couple, Matteo took her for a “Go-Kart date” and basically, at that time, something is definitely going on in between them. In that episode as part of Popstar Diaries, he taught her the basic of GoKarting and even let her wear the racing suit he used where he won three competitions.
He described him since then as surprisingly fearless and free-spirited. He would even mention and describe her as “astig” many times. He was clearly amused of her then.
