Agatha Tapan is one of the most popular child actresses in the Philippines during 1990s. She worker for ABS-CBN and has been featured in numerous films, television programs, and commercials.
Tapan rose to fame after playing the role of Denise in Mara Clara together with the veteran actresses Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes. The drama series dominated the Philippine television for a couple of years.
The ex-child star is also known for her iconic role in the remake of Vilma Santos’s Trudis Liit and other movies including “Mr.” She has been also featured in Barumbado (1996) and Once Upon a Time (1997).
However, the actress has decided to leave the show business industry to pursue her studies and due to personal reasons. Agatha finished a course in AB Communication at De La Salle University in Dasmariñas, Maliban.
The ex-celebrity is also a Business Development Analyst at ANC and currently working as FWD Financial Wealth Planner. In 2015, she married Romel Galiza and had a baby a few months after their wedding.
