Award-winning actress Lorna Tolentino shared her reaction to the Coco Martin versus Robin Padilla issue.
Recalling, the issue between Coco and Ronin started when the latter accused the Ang Probinsyano actor of pouring water to an audio man who was sleeping during their taping. This statement of Robin came after he counter-attacked the celebrities who showed support for ABS-CBN franchise renewal.
Amid this issue, just like the camp of Coco, Lorna Tolentino also denied the allegations against the Kapamilya actor. She said that she did not see any incident like “pangbubuhos ng tubig“. The actress added that she was the one who poured water to her co-star in one of her scenes.
During a recent interview, she was asked her opinion regarding the Coco Martin versus Robin Padilla issue. Lorna said that she is hopeful that the two actors will reconcile soon, based on the article from Bandera. “Lahat naman na mga away ng mga artista sa showbiz, later on, merong pagbabati,” she said.
“Kasi, iisa lang ang linya ng trabaho ninyo, e. So, nagkakaintindihan naman. Sa ngayon siguro, hindi pa sila nagkakausap, pero magkakaintindihan din sila,” the award-winning actress added.
She also said that if her late husband Rudy Fernandez is still alive now, he could be a peacemaker between Robin and Coco so that they will reconcile already. Meanwhile, Lorna Tolentino shared that her “kontrabida” role in Ang Probinsyano was initially intended for 10 days of airing only. However, she reached a year in the primetime series, based on the article.
The actress said that her role was so “draining”, however, her co-stars were assuring her that her evil character is a reflection of many people’s attitudes.
