Bodyguard Reveals What Happened At Sarah-Matteo Wedding
SARAH-MATTEO – Bodyguard Jerry Tamara revealed what happened at Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli’s controversial civil wedding.
Kapamilya couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli’s wedding is one of the most much-awaited weddings in the Philippines. Their fans and fellow celebrities are excited to see the ‘Popstar Royalty’ walking down the aisle. She and the Filipino-Italian actor have been in a relationship for more than 5 years.
On February 22, 2020, the celebrity couple finally tied the knot on a civil wedding. However, the singer’s Mommy Divine “arrived unexpectedly. The Kapamilya actor allegedly punched Sarah’s bodyguard for informing her mom about the wedding.
Taguig Police confirmed that Sarah Geronimo’s bodyguard, Jerry Tamara, told them that he was allegedly assaulted by Matteo Guidicelli. The incident happened around 11 pm at a hotel in Bonifacio Global City.
Tamara went to Raffy Tulfo in Action program on February 24 to reveal everything that happened on Sarah-Matteo controversial wedding and why he was punched. He told the host Raffy Tulfo that the singer advised him to go home around 10:30 in the evening. But before he obeyed Sarah’s orders, she texted Divine Geronimo asking her what to do next. He said Divine was the one who hired bodyguards for Sarah.
Mommy Divine then replied to the bodyguard to just stay at the hotel and wait for them to arrive. “Wag kayong aalis dyan malapit lang kami sa area nyo, papunta na ako,” said Divine. Tamara said Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli and his whole were having their dinner in a private room at King Crab at BGC.
When Divine arrived at the venue, the bodyguard said she immediately went to the function hall and told everyone “Mga traydor kayo, mga walang hiya kayo bakit nyo ako niloko.”
“Mga pangit na salita ang pinagpalitan ng pamilya sir eh… nagharap pa yung Mommy ni Maam Sarah saka yung Daddy ni sir Matteo eh. Mutik pa nga si Maam Divine masaktan ng Daddy ni Matteo kasi nanggigigil na,” he added.
Jerry Tamara said when he saw Matteo Guidicelli, Sarah Geronimo and his family exiting through the emergency exit, he immediately asked for instructions from Mommy Divine. Sarah’s mom told him to follow them.
The bodyguard then told the singer to talk to her mom first before leaving. Matteo responded saying, “Wag kang makialam dito asawa ko to.”
When he tried to explain, he said the actor then punched him in the neck.
