ABS-CBN Is Using Fake Permit, Cable TV Operator Says
A cable TV operator member is claiming that ABS-CBN is allegedly using a fake permit ever since. It was also rejected during the 16th Congress hearing.
Over the past few weeks, ABS-CBN has been one of the most controversial and most discussed topics on social media after several lawmakers seek to shut down the network. The issue draws various opinions from the public.
The celebrities and employees of the Kapamilya network have also expressed their disappointment with the proposed shutdown. The online community also expressed their reactions regarding the controversy.
Recently, the Facebook page “Balitang Totoo Gonzales” has shared the video footage of a lady claiming that ABS-CBN is allegedly using a fake permit and license to operate. The network’s franchise renewal has been rejected in 2014.
The woman claims that the Kapamilya network is guilty of license alteration. The lady who is a member of the cable operator’s association said that the giant media company has no permit to operate. The only permit given to them is just for Test Broadcast.
The 2014 Franchise Committee Chairman Marcelino Teodoro did not immediately approve the franchise renewal and scheduled another hearing. Unfortunately, there is no hearing happened again, according to the lady.
