Xian Lim Shows Off Ventriloquism Skills
XIAN LIM – ABS-CBN actor and model Xian Lim’s ventriloquism skills earned a lot of praise from the netizens.
Ventriloquism is an act of stagecraft in which the person only talks with the tongue and not moving the face or mouth. The ventriloquist sits beside a “dummy” that has a movable mouth.
Lots of people love watching ventriloquism performance and its very popular these days. In fact, most of them gained popularity after joining prestigious talent contests like America’s Got Talent.
Little did we know that the Kapamilya actor Xian Lim has skills in ventriloquism. He recently guested on the morning show “Magandang Buhay” hosted by Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros.
The 30-year-old celebrity impressed the hosts, audience and the netizens with his ventriloquism skills. During the interview, he said he got interested in the art after watching videos of ventriloquists online. He then ordered his own “dummy.”
“It started nung nakakita ako ng videos online. Sabi ko, nakakatuwa ito. Ako naman parang swak sa akin kasi I’m an only child wala akong kapatid, kaya sabi ko, okay ito parang akong may kausap. Hinanap ko yung mga ventriloquist dito sa Pilipinas,” he said.
Xian Lim then introduced his new best friend “Jun-jun” on the show. It can be seen in the video that the hosts enjoyed watching his performance.
