Businessman, Batangas Councilor Involved in Conflict that Lead to Former’s Death

BUSINESSMAN – A man died in Batangas following a conflict between him and a barangay councilor in the province.

Undeniably, there were a lot of scenarios in the past that small conflicts have led to worst outcomes. Among these severely negative results are the loss of lives.

Usually, these conflicts arise on the road most especially when everyone is on a rush and the heat of the sun is greatly affecting the motorists’ mood. It seems like no one can give a way for another to avoid scuffles.

Recently, another conflict had led to a loss of life. The scuffle is between a barangay official and a private man engaged in business.

Businessman Dies Following Conflict w/ Batangas Councilor

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the businessman and the Batangas councilor’s conflict sparked when they were at a gasoline station. The barangay official identified as alyas Manny was already at the fuel station in Barangay Sinisian when a certain Manuel del Rosario arrived.

Del Rosario, 46-year-old, allegedly hit the barangay official over a still unknown reason. It started the fight between the two (2) men.

Based on the report, the suspek, a Batangas councilor, tried to run away from the area but the businessman also ran after him. Their conflict led to the use of firearms against each other.

Del Rosario obtained a shot and was rushed to Calaca Hospital. Unfortunately, he was declared as dead-on-arrival. Reportedly, the suspected has surrendered to the authorities.
